The Boston Red Sox have offically introduced Ryan Dempster to their lineup.

Dempster, from Gibsons, BC, signed a 2 year deal with Boston for 26.5 million dollars.  The right hander has been in the majors since 1998 and has a career record of 124-124.

Last season, Dempster split his year with Chicago and Texas, posting a record of 19-11.

The Red Sox are looking for starting pitching to stabilize their team, as last season Bosto finished a dismal 69-93.
