NHL player agent Kurt Overhardt tells CKNW that as far as he's concerned the NHL lockout could be solved in less than a day if one person would check his ego at the door.

Overhardt says the fact that the players have agreed to a 50 per cent split in revenues, "the war has been won."  "And now that the war has been won, pick up the pieces and negotiate a deal and do it like men."  

Overhardt says all that's happening right now is a commissioner who, "wants to scorch the earth and draw lines in the sand," rather than get a deal done.
