The Vancouver Giants will have to push forward without one of their top offensive performers as reports indicate that forward Marek Tvrdon has been lost for the season with an apparent blood clot in Tvrdon’s arm.
Tvrdon played 18 games for the Giants this season and collected 22 points on eight goals and fourteen assists. Over three seasons, Tvrdon has played just ninety games, but garnered 107 points (45 goals, 62 assists).
Tvrdon was a fourth round draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings in 2011.
