It was another case of too little, too late for the Vancouver Giants.
The G-Men spotted the visiting Calgary Hitmen a four goal lead before a furious third period rally fell short in a 5-4 loss.
Cody Sylvester scored the hat trick for the visitors, who spotted the Giants the opening goal before reeling off 5 straight to take a 5-1 lead into the final stanza.
Thomas Foster, Blake Orban, Dalton Sward and Thomas Cheek lit the lamp for Vancouver in the loss, as the Giants see their record fall to 2-8 this season.
Next up for Vancouver will be a home date against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Wednesday night.
