The NHL has announced that they have cancelled all regular season league games through November 1.

The NHL is still hopeful that they can put a deal together with the players over the next seven to ten days to retain a full 82 game schedule, which would commence November 2nd.

However, both the players and owners have rejected each others last proposals in meetings held Thursday and currently there are no talks scheduled between the two sides.
