Lulay may not play against Eskimos

Fresh off becoming a father for the first time earlier this week, Travis Lulay spent most of the Lions practice watching Mike Reilly taking first team reps for the Leos as they prepare for the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday.

Lulay is nursing a variety of injuries and stated that if the game were played today, it was unlikely that he would play. However, with the game on Friday, Lulay has every intention of being on the field for a chance to clinch the West Division and home field advantage for the West Final.

Arland Bruce and Geroy Simon were also at practice, but did not take first team reps as well and are considered questionable at best for the Lions.

Defensive tackle Khalif Mitchell is also recovering from injury and is likely to play unless there is further discipline levelled by the Lions over his racial slur on Twitter, for which he has been fined by the CFL.
