The Twins finally found a replacement for injured closer Joe Nathan. They acquired all-star Matt Capps from Washington for two minor leaguers. Elsewhere, the N-L West leading Padres received infielder Miguel Tejada from Baltimore. Toronto acquired prospect Anthony Gose from Houston.
