VANCOUVER - Sandro DeAngelis needed two attempts to win the Calgary Stampeders _ and he was perfect both times.
DeAngelis booted a 27-yard field goal as time expired to lead the Stampeders to a 28-26 win over the B-C Lions.
The victory means Calgary can finish no worse than second in the West Division, meaning either a first-round bye or home-field advantage in the West semifinal.
DeAngelis and the Stampeders thought they had won the game one play earlier, but his 22-yard field goal was negated by a Calgary penalty.
Henry Burris finished 14 of 28 for 267 yards and a touchdown for the Stampeders.
Casey Printers threw for 337 yards and a T-D for the Lions, who fell to 8-and-9 and will need a win over Edmonton next week to clinch a playoff berth.
