The ruling was unanimous and that means the six second degree murder convictions handed to Robert Pickton in 2007 will stand.
The nine justices of the Supreme Court of Canada have denied his bid for a new trial.
Pickton was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 25 years for killing six women.
His lawyers appealed arguing the trial judge made an error in his instructions to the jury.
Pickton was facing charges in the deaths of another 20 women, but now that the high court has upheld his conviction, those additional charges are likely to be stayed.
