The Ministry of Health is looking at using health care to generate revenue.

Health Minister Kevin Falcon says BC could easily take advantage of Americans who are looking for cheaper alternatives for their own health care.

Falcon says if we can use this to generate revenue, it means British Columbians will benefit from "faster, quicker, better" service.

He points to the post-secondary system where international students are charged more than four times what regular students pay.

Falcon was speaking on CKNW's Bill Good show.
