Anti-Olympic activists are preparing for major action during the games.

They're thinking big when it comes to being heard.

Vancouver's Olympic Resistance Network has invited anti-Olympic supporters across Canada to join them in February.

Spokesperson Anna Hunter says they expect a strong turnout from people against the negative impact of the games as part of what she calls the convergence, "There will be speakers, information events, panels and I think there will also be wide-scale demonstrations, I think, targeting specific aspects of the Olympics and the impact for the Olympics and then also large, festival-like shows of dissent against spectacle and the circus that it is."

Hunter adds the network won't respect protest zones and is already strategizing around them.
