Four federal by-elections take place on Monday, including one here in BC.
The seat for New Westminster-Coquitlam was vacated when New Democrat MP Dawn Black jumped into provincial politics.
New Democrat Fin Donnelly is the likely front runner in the by-election, with his party taking the seat in last year's general election.
NDP leader Jack Layton has campaigned with Donnelly four times since June with the two trying to make the vote about the Harper government's role in prompting BC to adopt the harmonized sales tax.
In a debate on CKNW, Donnelly attacked Conservative candidate Diana Dilworth for her support of the HST.
Aside from the radio debate, Dilworth has been largely invisible in the campaign, refusing to talk to most media or attend all-candidates forums.
Ken Beck Lee is running for the Liberals and Rebecca Helps is running for the Green party.
