A 42 year old Maple Ridge woman has been charged with second degree murder stemming from a domestic dispute Tuesday night.

Leah Marie Florence has been in custody since Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call on Tuesday night.

Officers found her 50 year old husband suffering from serious wounds all over his body.
He died later in hospital.

Florence was also injured, but police aren't revealing how.

The 9-1-1 call came in from a family member who lived on the floor above the couple at the home on Ospring Street in the Lower Hammond area.

Florence appears today in provincial court in Port Coquitlam.
