The Vancouver Park Board has raised the fire hazard in all city parks to extreme.

As of today, smoking is banned in all parks and trails, while charcoal and wood-burning barbecues are also prohibited.

Campfires are not allowed at any Vancouver parks or beaches.

Fire hazard signs have also been put up in Stanley Park, Everett Crowley Park and Jericho Beach Park.
