BC Cabinet change coming
VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980)

6/23/2008

The buzz is building in Victoria where speculation is the Premier will shuffle his Cabinet today.

But speaking to CKNW, Gordon Campbell would not confirm the rumour saying he still has seven days left to make the announcement, "I've got people to chat with and I'm chatting with them. But you know, I think it's clear that we're ten months away from an election and there's a number of Cabinet Ministers who've said that they're not going to actually seek re-election for totally understandable reasons, but I'll be doing a Cabinet, some changes to Cabinet by the end of this month."

Campbell has to replace four Cabinet Ministers who will not run for re-election next year, but he's always said he'll make those decisions by the end of June.
