A 42-year-old woman has survived a potentially deadly fall this morning on Grouse Mountain.
The Vancouver resident was up on the mountain to watch the sun rise. While hiking along the Dam Mountain trail she fell about 30 metres and got stuck in a tree.
Two North Vancouver RCMP officers were sent to get her, along with search and rescue personnel.
She was able to get out of the tree at around 9:30 a.m. this morning, and suffered only minor injuries.
