Early morning Surrey robbery ends in Burnaby
Vancouver/CKNW(AM980)

11/18/2009

Two men and a woman have been arrested after an early-morning robbery which began in Surrey and ended in Burnaby.

Surrey RCMP Sergeant Roger Morrow says police were called to an armed robbery at Scott Road and 110th around 5:30AM and tracked a car to a nearby house.

When officers moved in, two men fled in the car and nearly hit a Mountie, prompting police to fire at the car.

A woman was arrested at the house.

Morrow says about two hours later, two men took a taxi from Surrey to Burnaby.
