We'll have to wait a while before a BC Supreme Court justice decides on whether Jamie Bacon's conditions in remand violate his Charter rights.

After hearing weeks of arguments, Justice Mark McEwan has reserved judgment.

Jamie Bacon's lawyer is arguing the solitary confinement conditions at Surrey Pretrial violate Bacon's Charter rights and have adversely affected his mental health.

She's argued Bacon is being treated unfairly because other high-profile accused gangsters have been allowed into the general population.
Lawyers for Surrey pre-trial say Bacon would be at risk in the general population.

The Red Scorpion gang member is one of several people charged in the Surrey six slayings.
No word on when McEwan will deliver his ruling.
