Crews have been out fixing potholes by hand since last week. But Sacher says the weather has been too damp and the temperatures are too inconsistent so far this March to send out the pothole patching trucks.

There's no point in having an immobilizer in your vehicle if you're going to leave the keys for the thief to use. The combination of melting snow, moist mild air and light winds is creating ideal conditions for the development of fog and drizzle once again. Environment Canada says the stagnant weather pattern is expected to persist over southern Manitoba for the remainder of the week. Some light rain showers or snow flurries moved across the south early this morning and helped to improve visibility by clearing away the fog. Some fog patches will linger through today.
However, dense fog creating poor visibility will become widespread again this evening and visibilities are forecast to drop to only a few hundred metres until late Thursday morning. Visibilities will improve on Thursday when another band of rain sweeps across southern Manitoba.
