Winnipeg police were called to the St. Vital Mall for a report of a weapon sighting outside Silver City cinema.
Police say they are checking up on the report, which came in around 9:15, but haven't been able to confirm anything.
They haven't located the person who made the call, but they are checking through video surveillance as a precaution.
