Police in Toronto have charged a 23 year old man there with first degree murder in the killing of 23 year old Winnipegger Leanne Freeman.
Freeman was shot to death in Toronto on November 29th. She had recently moved there from Winnipeg where she was facing drug charges.
Jonathan Ash was initially charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Police have now upgraded that charge as a result of the investigation.
