The first mosquitoes infected with West Nile virus have been found in Manitoba.
The infected mosquitoes were collected July 1st in traps in Portage la Prairie and the Sandy Bay First Nation. But the number of infected mosquitoes are predicted to be low for this area.
No human cases of West Nile have been identified.
