About 1,700 people lost power for hours on Monday.
Glen Schneider with Manitoba Hydro tells CJOB the outage began shortly before 2:00 Monday afternoon.
"It appears to be affected Richmond West and also Waverly West areas. It appears to be an underground fault and our people are on site and looking for the problem right now," says Schneider
He adds the problem with underground faults is they can be difficult to spot and power had not been restored at the time this story was posted.
