A flood warning has been issued for Assiniboine River Valley agricultural lands just downstream of the Shellmouth Reservoir.
The province says river levels in the low-lying areas right near the dam are exceeding flood stage due to significant rains in Saskatchewan and western Manitoba over the past 24 hours.
More localized rains are expected over the upper Assiniboine in the next few days.
