A controversial Whyte Ridge apartment complex faces is final hurdle this morning.
Winnipeg City Council will vote on the subdivision and rezoning required for the town house/apartment complex at the corner of McGillivray and Dunkley Street. Many Whyte Ridge residents oppose the complex, saying to doesn't belong in their single-family homes neighbourhood. Council will also vote on whether or not to remove some red tape to make it easier to build a "granny suite" attached to your home. It would also open the door to building detached secondary suites on properties.
