The Winnipeg Fire-Paramedic Service made quick work of an apartment fire shortly before noon Tuesday..
Crews were called to a four storey building at Jessie and Cockburn. There were no reports of any injuries but a number of people did have to be helped out of the apartment.
Damage was estimated at 350-thousand dollars.
And there were no injuries early Tuesday evening after a fire at 1630 Henderson highway. Fire crews responded to the address just after 6:30pm after reports of a fire in a garbage container in a 7th floor suite.
The cause of both fires is under investigation..
