A bad first quarter for Air Canada - the airline's first-quarter loss was 11 times higher this year than in 2011.
Air Canada's net loss for January to March was 210 million dollars - 55 million was attributed to the shut down of Aveos.

The Montreal company had to weather higher fuel prices, work stoppages by some of its employees and the bankruptcy of Aveos, the company that formerly overhauled its planes.
