City Councillor Dan Vandal says if Canalta pulls its water park proposal because they were asked to submit design plans, they weren't that serious about building one to begin with.
Vandal says the estimate of 200-thousand dollars to put together design plans was pulled out of thin air. He has been told good designs can be produced for 30 to 40-thousand dollars.
He says there may even be a possibility of cost-sharing that expense with the city of Winnipeg.
