Mayor Rob Ford made his first public appearance at the Taste of the Danforth opening last night since his discharge from hospital on Thursday.
He told the crowd at the event that he is “back and fighting” after a little throat infection.
The festival takes over Danforth Avenue from Broadview to Jones Avenue until Sunday night.
Other events taking place today include the Wheels on the Danforth & Fun in the Park.
