City council is set to get a 3 percent pay increase next week that would mean a bump of $3,000 for Councillors
The Globe and Mail is reporting that Mayor Rob Ford has decided to reject the pay increase that would have meant $5,000 more for the Mayor's annual income.
It's the first scheduled raise for elected officials in more than 18 months.
