Attendance at the Toronto zoo is way up this year by 46 per cent in the first 5 months.
The increase has translated into $1.68 million more than budgeted so far this year, that's 27 per cent above target.
Zoo officials credit the increase to a few new baby animals including Hudson the polar bear and a pair of penguin chicks.
The weather could also have helped the increase.
With the two giant panda's coming in 2013 as part of a five year loan zoo board members are hoping to drive revenues even higher.
