Impaired driving charges are pending against an Etobicoke man after a single vehicle crash on the northbound 427.
Sergeant Dave Woodford says just after 1 Thursday morning, the vehicle went across 5 lanes of traffic and smashed into a concrete barrier.
The driver and his female passenger were not wearing seatbelts are were ejected from the vehicle.
Both were transported to hospital where they remain in serious condition.
