The mayor got some bad news today as he'll be in court September 5, 6 and 7 on a charge that could see him removed from office.
Toronto executive Paul Magder accuses Ford of violating the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act for financial gain.
He alleges Ford breached the act in February when he asked council to remove a sanction placed on him by the integrity commissioner when he was a councillor.
Ford effectively erased the finding against him and the order to repay lobbyists $3,150 donated to his private football foundation.
If the judge finds Ford did commit a conflict of interest the mandatory penalty is removal from office, a ban on running again for up to seven years and payment of restitution.
