The Tiger-Cats host the Alouettes at Ivor Wynne Saturday night with a share of first place up for grabs.
A Hamilton win would move the 1-and-2 Ticats into a tie atop the East with Montreal and Toronto.
It will also be the first time Ticats defensive end Jermaine McElveen faces his fomer team.
McElveen says he's looking forward to facing his former teammates.
McElveen says after years of practicing against Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo he gets to "finally hit him."
Tiger-Cats head coach George Cortez says it's understandable to think that McElveen is going to play a little harder against Montreal.
Cortez says "it's like if you play against your brother in the backyard, you probably play harder against him than you your neighbour."
McElveen spent his first four CFL seasons with the Al's where he recorded 78 defensive tackles, 18 sacks, 2 interceptions and 5 fumble recoveries.
