The province's Special Investigations Unit is probing the deaths of two men who were found dead on the escarpment Saturday morning.
The SIU says that at around 5:30 a.m., an off-duty Hamilton Police officer reported seeing two males on the Jolley Cut overpass.
He had some kind of interaction with them and a short time later they were found dead on the Claremont Access roadway beneath the Jolley Cut overpass.
The SIU has four investigators and two forensic investigators probing the incident.

The provincial agency investigates when police officers are involved in incidents where someone has been seriously injured, dies or alleges sexual assault.
