The Ministry of Labour is investigating not one but two incidents in town.
Police say a worker fell off a City of Hamilton dump truck in Stoney Creek as it was making a turn on Friday.
The worker had been holding on at the back of the truck when he lost his grip, fell off and hit his head.
The 49-year-old man was taken to hospital and there's no word on his condition.
Officials are also probing an incident in Ancaster where a roofer fell 20 feet to the ground during a job on Meadowlands Boulevard.
He too was taken to hospital.
