A Superior Court justice has overturned a judicial officer's order to move a defamation suit from Toronto to Hamilton.
The case involves Andre Gravelle, who had murder charges in the killings of Lynn and Fred Gilbank withdrawn in 2006.
Gravelle is suing 10 defendants including CTV Television, Hamilton police detective Steven Hrab and the Gilbanks' son and daughter.
The Gilbanks were shot execution-style in their Ancaster home in 1998.
Charges against Gravelle and another man were withdrawn by the Crown on the eve of a preliminary hearing.
