It seems the demand for luxury homes in Hamilton remains high.
The latest report from Re/Max shows 13 of the 16 major Canadian centres examined, including Hamilton and Burlington, posted an increase in luxury home buying activity.
First quarter sales in Hamilton-Burlington were the strongest on record, with 67 luxury homes changing hands compared with 54 in 2011.
The priciest home sold in our area was a 3.8-million dollar house in Aldershot on the Bay.
