Another pit bull in Hamilton will not be returning to her family after being picked up by Animal Services.
The dog's owners says Mercedes was picked up Friday after she escaped from the back yard.
Kevin Adnum says Mercedes wasn't spayed.
That's a violation of the provinces Dog Owners Liability Act 34 meaning the dog will either be euthanized or sent to another province.
Adnum says Mercedes is a good dog who never bit anyone and he's going to fight to try and get her back.
