There is now a ninth conviction in the human trafficking case that links Hamilton with Hungary.
38 year old Janos Szanto, considered to be the recruiter in the scheme has pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit human trafficking and being part of a criminal organization.
He's been sentenced to two additional years in prison with a recommendation for early parole so he can be deported.
As the recruiter, Szanto is the one who lured young men from Hungary with promises of good paying jobs in Hamilton.
The men were then forced to live in deplorable conditions, work for no money and forced to commit welfare fraud.
