It's a win-win situation for one Edmonton blogger, as well as the Stollery Children's Hospital.
Sheri Landry (@thisbirdsday) is the winner of a nationwide contest, in which she will blog for a new international lottery company called BiLLe.
BILLe, is a unique international lotto company that hopes to become the biggest lottery in the world, while helping support charity in the process.
Landry says, part of her competition application was to interview a nonprofit charity of her choice.
“I was surprised when BiLLe donated to the charities of all of the semi finalists. The charity that I chose to feature was the Stollery, and the BiLLe donated 10,000 Euros.”
Landry will work on a one-year contract with BiLLe, in social media and blogging, in which she will receive 100,000 Euros (over $122,000 CDN). (bu)
