If a fire ripped through your home, you would already be devastated. But then imagine if you were a student without insurance and everything you owned was destroyed.
That's the reality facing up to 14 students from the university area.
Edmonton Emergency Relief Services wants to help, but Heather McCallum says the organization needs you.
"We're desperately in need of donations of furniture that's in good condition, towels and linens, pots and pans, and kitchen items."
You can drop off donations at its downtown warehouse at 10255 104th Street between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. To arrange a furniture pickup, call (780) 428-4422 and ask for Rick.
