One man has been flown to hospital in Calgary by STARS after a small plane crash near Strathmore.
RCMP say the single person ultra-lite aircraft went down about 12:30 this afternoon near the Indus Airport.
Witnesses observed the aircraft depart from the airport runway, climb to approximately 400 feet and then come crashing down about 2 kilometres south of the airport.
No official word on the extent of the injuries.
RCMP and the Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
