Spring street-cleaning has wrapped up in Calgary, about a month ahead of schedule.
Normally , the clean-up takes until July , but thanks mostly to cooperative weather crews were able to finish up early.
City officials are thanking Calgarians for moving their vehicles, their black and blue carts and other obstacles for the trucks.
Crews remove about 50, 000 tonnes of winter sanding materials, dirt and other debris from Calgary’s roads ..which are used for cover at the landfills.
Now that the street sweeping is complete...it's time for summer construction season!
