Plans have officially been unveiled for a massive makeover for Bowness Park.
The $10.5 million project will include the restoration of the memorable mini-train and the re-creation of the orthophonic device that piped music into the park during the 1920's.
Mayor Naheed Nenshi says the nearly century-old park is still extremely busy and users, like himself, wanted to see some attention paid to it.
Construction began in March and is expected to take about three years to complete.
