Abbotsford police are asking for the public’s help to find a driver who hit a pedestrian and did not stay at the scene.
The collision took place at Sumas Way near the Old Clayburn Road off-ramp late Thursday evening.
Constable Ian MacDonald says the 49-year-old victim suffered a fractured thigh bone and some head and neck injuries, but he didn’t get a look at the car.
“Certainly we’re hopeful that somebody would’ve either seen something, or with the fact that so many people have dashcam video now, that someone could come forward with that video and maybe it would provide some explanation as to what specifically occurred.”
Police are also advising the public to let them know of any vehicles with recent right front-end damage.
