The search for a missing Cache Creek fire chief will resume on Saturday at first light.
Chief Clayton Cassidy was last seen early Friday morning, when he was checking water levels near Brookside Campground after heavy rainfall.
Kamloops Search and Rescue manager Alan Hobler says the team will have more manpower tomorrow.
“We’re going to have our teams out, and K-9 units and probably the drone again. We’re getting help from all over, I can’t say specifically but I know people are coming away as far as the lower mainland to assist in the search.”
Earlier on Friday Hobler said rising water levels hindered efforts making conditions hazardous for those looking for the 59-year-old Fire Chief.
