The B.C. SPCA say they are nearing in on a person of interest in a Strathcona park case that has dog owners on high alert.
On Monday officials said they were made aware of an incident in the park, where it appears food with needles stuffed into it was left on the ground.
This comes after two previous incidents of similarly prepared food were discovered earlier on in the week.
Marcie Moriaty with the B.C. SPCA says they have been led to somebody who lives close by.
“Somebody had called in and indicated that this person was irritated by having dogs and cats in a community garden, whether this incident is related to the other investigations is just speculation at this point.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the B.C. SPCA.
