Two Seattle Police officers are in hospital, one with life-threatening injuries, after being shot responding to a botched robbery.
It happened around 2 p.m., near Western and Madison in the city’s downtown.
One of the officers, a 30-year-old man is in critical condition, while the second, a 42-year-old woman is in satisfactory condition.

Seattle PD says two suspects have been detained, one with “significant injuries.”
Police added they were searching for a possible third subject.
The incident led to the closure of several blocks in downtown Seattle while police hunted for the suspects.
