If you’ve applied for a job at McDonald’s within the last three years, take note.
McDonald’s Canada says there’s been a cyber-attack on its ‘careers’ website, impacting about 95,000 job applicants.
The careers page has since been shut down as investigators try to figure out who was behind it.
Anyone who applied for a job with the company between March 2015 to March 2017, might be compromised. People impacted by the hack will be contacted by letter.
“At this time, we have no information that the information taken has been misused. We apologize to those impacted by this incident,” reads part of a statement released by the company.
McDonald’s says the compromised information includes applicant names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and employment background.
